Today We Split the Fleet

Today is the third and final day in the Open Qualifiers division. Tonight we will split the fleet and the successful teams will go on to join those who have pre qualified for the 21st Hobie® 16 World Championships Open Semi Finals in Dapeng, China.

We have experienced some light and consistent rain overnight and once again we have light winds predicted with just a little more puff than yesterday and should range between 6 and 9 knots with the breeze blowing ESE and improving over the course of the day.

It is currently 26ºC (79ºF) at 6:30am and the Dapeng New District is expecting a maximum of 32ºC (90 0F) but it will be hot and humid and feel more like 44ºC (111ºF). The UV factor is sitting in the high range.

Competition will be fierce with today the final chance for tems to claim a place in the Open Semi Finals. Good luck and fair sailing.
